Juve Rant

with signs that juve will be back to the top-flight next season, there has been a lot of transfer talk. one thing that bothers me is our recently "rumored" transfer targets. they are either defenders (samuel, heintze etc) or strikers (klose, toni, saviola, etc). what freaking happened to the creative midfield department? i thought this was a crapello problem. milan got kaka, now they've got another kaka in the making, gourcuff. freaking hell! juve, deschamps show more ambition.
davids, zidane, nedved
ever since '96 when i officially became a juve fan, we've had some of the best players hold our midfield down, producing 2 world and 2 european footballer awards. some names include: moeller, jugovic, lombardo, paulo sousa, davids, deschamps, tacchinardi, zidane, nedved. nedved, 34, though still a performer is past his prime now. shouldn't all the transfer talk be about his possible replacement? pesonally, camoranesi, 30, frustrates me a lot as he seems to have a lot of bad days as well as good days and his supposed replacement, marchionni, doesn't impress me all that much. i know we desperately need solid defenders, no doubt, but i don't understand why much of the talk has been centred around strikers. i believe it's more important getting a creative midfielder (following zizou and nedved) than poaching for new strikers. DP, trez, palladino are doing fine. we also have the likes of miccoli at our disposal. talk of gerrard and lampard are in the air but thats just freaking unrealistic (BTW, lampard sucks big time!). moggi is gone so juve's transfer plans can't be much of a secret anymore as it used to be and i believe there's a hint of truth in these speculations. i need more interesting news please! i want to hear names like quaresma, messi, robinho...
deschamps may be no lippi but my expectations next season are very high. anyway, i can go on for days ranting about juve but i'll stop here. oh how i reminisce about lippi's juve of the late 90s when zidane was god. yes! his best years were at juve. the following link is proof:

enjoy 39 mins of zidane magic! 96/97, 97/98, 98/99, 99/00, 00/01 - divX

I recomend you to pay attention to the next season. 'Cause Barça Midfield Factory will present us two new young jewels that are as good as Leo Messi. Memorize their names: Giovani Dos Santos (18 years old) & Bojan Krkic (just 16 years old).

The first one Dos Santos is half Mexican half Brazilian and is let's say a Messinho, I mean a mixture between Ronaldinho and Messi. Check youtube: http://youtube.com/watch?v=TJEQREsBcJ0

On the other hand Bojan Krkic, the younger is half Catalan half Servian. He's a real killer, a scorer. But as he's too young, next season he'll still play for Barça's young team. Anyway soon we'll see him in action. Check youtube: http://youtube.com/watch?v=9smfU6nCnnU

I just hope that Ronaldinho don't commit the same mistake as Ronaldo when he became the best player in the world in Barcelona yep! you know… when he was still an athletic boy that delighted the world but then signed for Inter and then failed and became a fatty player.

Milan AC wants to sign Ronaldinho. If they achieve that it will be the sad end for him. Italian football is not for Ronaldinho. He needs an amusing creative, brave & bold football to succeed and be happy, and this football culture unfortunately is only traditionally supported by Barça and its fans.

We'll see what happens man.
Respectful.

Yep, you're right, I should take it easy. BUT Ronaldinho became a fifa world player playing for Barça as well as Ronaldo. ;)

Good news! Ronaldinho will remain at Barça, at least till 2010.

By the way Juve wants Saviola. He's not a bad player. He needs, to my mind, a tall pivotman forward that could help & complement him. He's really quick, skillful & good scorer. The main disadvantage is that he always looks to the ball/floor in order to play. And it's something that, here in Barcelona, we don't like.

About Quaresma, I don't now if he has improved but he was so very anarchic when played for Barça. Tough, maybe he was too young.

i've always been a fan of saviola and would be very glad if juve signed him.

i haven't seen too many games by quaresma but in the few i've seen, he has impressed me. he's still young though...more room for improvement.
